Hi Everyone,
When I woke up this morning, it felt like it was just last month that the Class of 2025 got their admissions results. I got up, checked my phone, and was flooded with good news. Words can't even describe my happiness and relief after finding out the high school admissions results for this year's EduMit students. Here is a quick breakdown of our results:
Acceptances for EduMit students (who have attended multiple EduMit courses) applying for admission in the 2026 school year:
Blair Academy: 1
Choate Rosemary Hall: 1
Groton School: 1
Milton Academy: 1
Phillips Academy Andover: 1
Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science: 1
St. Paul's School (New Hampshire): 1
The Hotchkiss School: 1
The Lawrenceville School: 4
The Peddie School: 1
(The list is not final, more decisions are on the way. If you have attended our courses and have not contacted us about your results, please do so! We would love to hear from you!)
These are absolutely incredible results, considering most of the schools on this list have around 15% acceptance rates! I know that all our students will lead amazing journeys at whatever school they will attend! It's not just about the final result, though. The application process has been a long, hard, and mildly frustrating journey for many. I am absolutely in awe at the amount of perseverance, creativity, and optimism that our students have shown throughout this entire process.
Our students have been able to bravely embrace the challenges they faced and always keep striving for excellence. Our teachers have also been excellent. This year was the first year that EduMit has had multiple student-teachers leading classes. A special shoutout to Brianna, Rui, and Nick for making an impact upon our students!
Lastly, EduMit donates half of our REVENUE to charity. This year, we have raised over $900 to be directly donated to nonprofits. In addition, Eric Wu has used funds form EduMit to found a nonprofit called Impact Chess. The mission of Impact Chess is "to spread our beloved game of chess to those who would benefit from it the most." If you have attended any EduMit courses and would like to give a 'tip', it would be greatly appreciated if you donated to Impact Chess here: https://www.impactchess.org/donate
Anyways, I'm kind of just rambling now but I really want to again congratulate our students from this year. We commend you all for your hard work and we are happy for your incredible results. No matter the result, though, we appreciate you and we have faith in your future achievements. Lets keep in touch :)
With Love,
Eric Wu (Founder) and the EduMit Family
